~<>~Oink's POV~<>~ "We're making a fuel-stop after this wormhole," my brother, Ghart, informed me. Ghart was a little taller than me, so about four feet in height. Being from Rswar made us both have the same blueish-green complexion, and dark-green crazed hair. Our eyes were three large orbs of black, two eyes in the front, and one eye on the back of our necks. "Here it comes." The 'it' was a wormhole, I prepared myself for the tight squeeze and felt The Craft fold into the hole, taking us with it. After popping out the other end of the tunnel it took several moments to feel like myself again. I quickly did a quick scan of myself, to make sure there wasn't anything missing. One head, two arms, two hands, four fingers, two legs, two feet, two toes, and one antenna. I checked the list off. Ghart let out a maniacal cackle. I didn't ask why, it didn't do any good to ask why. I would find out if I needed to know. "Wait, till you see this place," he grinned. "Earthlings are psychos.' "Uh, how come?" "Let's just say evolution didn't work in their favor. Most of them are cannibals, and a great majority can't even speak." He pulled up a screen in front of us and began showing me pictures. The Earthlings all varied greatly, there were large, small, furry, feathery, scaly... the list went on. "And look, they have these machines and contraptions that're destroying their world. So we need not bother to," he laughed, "They're suicidal." "Oh." Sometimes by brother's attitude bothered me. "Yeah, I thought about destroying their planet awhile back. But, obviously, I didn't." He mused, we made our way towards the ground, "You know, I'm still thinking about it. I haven't blew up anything in awhile, I'm getting all twitchy." "How about we see how things go once we get some fuel?" I suggested.

-- Pip & Fib's POV --
"Hurry it up now!" The guards yelled at us.
Come on Pip, Fib said loudly in our thoughts. They won't feed us if we don't hurry.
I know, I know, Pip replied. Wait, aren't you Pip?
Oh, right, sorry, the actual Pip (but who really knew?) corrected.
We shoveled the Backlers faster into the hole in the wall. Backlers were what Earthlings would call a lemon, only orange with purple spots all around the sides of it's cylinder like shape. The citric acid is what fueled The Craft, which is why we were shoveling.
Being Renwonkels, we were born twins, with our brain shared telepathically; our thoughts ran together and we sometimes got confused with who was who, and which one of us thought what. At the moment, it could be either of us thinking, or both of us collectively; we hardly even knew anymore.
It had been a hundred years of being enslaved, for many different ships - having only been working on The Craft for about thirty. Although two different bodies, we were one in the same and if separated, we could die if not returned to each other in a timely fashion.
This was precisely the reason we were both here, shoveling awful smelling Backlers into The Craft's engine. We could not be separated, and the crime we had committed could not be blamed on either of us, for we had no true idea who had done it either.
The engine room was hot and dirty, and if we weren't careful, we'd get sprayed with the sizzling juice sputtering from the engine that burned our orange skin. It was our ninth day in a row working, with no breaks or anything. We were tired, but kept on.
"Alright, switch out!" Yelled the guard at the door.
A large, ugly brown Lorkin walked in, his tusks sticking out of his snout, and his large ape-like arms carried his tiny legs forward. We gave each other a look, staring into our six - collective - green eyes. How on Xeneox is he going to shovel with them? we thought.
But we never got to find out. We were thrown into our cell; small and only one, little bed - although we usually shared back at home, and our tiny bodies fit fine anyway.
We stared at the ceiling, our thoughts running. We would get the night to sleep, but would move to 'kitchen duty' in the morning - which was a lot easier than the engine room, but the smell was far worse.
That night we dreamed of a place that was filled with large trees, and great waters. We knew in the dream, that it was a place that we could be free. We had dreamed of it before, but hadn't for a while. Great Moriblu only knew why we had had the dream again.

Ghart laughed to himself, "The best part of this planet is they haven't discovered other-worldly lifeforms. So, it's really easy to mess with them." The two of us were walking through a forest, the trees had little green needles. With closer examination, I noted the needles were harmless and very easily destroyed with my Abolisher Zap.
My brother was crazy about the Abolisher Zap, ZzzzeeeeEEeee CRACK! ZzzzeeeeEEEeee CRACK!. Ghart laughed some more to himself. We brought some slaves along with us who were picking up all the debris from the dying trees. Ghart usually liked to leave some captives behind on random planets and pick up some new ones as a souvenir. "I hope you guys like charcoal, you're looking at dinner." They did eat the blackened tree chunks, they looked like they were enjoying it at least.
After a couple more whiles we made it to a long gray strip of cement. The art piece was unusual, it had yellow lines through the center and white lines along the sides. My antenna twitched, "This is an awfully ugly piece of artwork."
"Earthlings use these strips of cement as transportation systems. Also, they enjoy hitting other earthlings walking across the road. So, if you see an odd machine coming along make sure you," ZzzzeeeeEEeee CRACK!, "Zap it," he finished, displaying the action by making a huge hole in the cement.
The six of us made our way down the strip. Besides my brother and I, there were three slaves and one bodyguard. The slaves were all getting off kitchen duty today, we weren't going to be on the ship to eat anyways. Ghart and I led the pack of us, I kept my back eye on the group. I was prepared for a revolt from the mindless slaves. That's why Moo-Moo, our bodyguard, was with us.
"Immah Hungree," even with the language translator in my antenna, I still couldn't understand Moo-Moo sometimes. Ghart checked his technical device and told us that it wasn't far until our destination. "Hoowaahcome wein't drive theeaar?"
"Shush Moo. Oink and I needed our exercise. Besides, what are were supposed to do? Drive around a spaceship?"
Moo-Moo was a massive creature. When his hands were fisted they were the size of my head. His body was filled with huge scaly spikes, and one of his nostrils were the size of all three of my eyes put together. He let out a sound of discontent, "GGhhaarrrRRooooh!" Moo-Moo had poor eyesight and was often tripping over other, smaller, creatures.
~<>~ Several Hundred Steps Later ~<>~
Our destination wasn't exactly what I expected. It was a tiny building with odd statues outside it. "What do these statues represent? They're all the same," it began to smell. As we got closer I realized what I was seeing weren't statues. They were actually some machines. Moo-Moo sniffed, probably, like me, wondering what the stench was coming from. However, unlike my sniffs, his huge intake of air sucked up the smallest member of our slave crew. He coughed the slave back up, long with some yellowy slime.
I looked up, the sign above the building read: "Gas Station"

We walked for a very long time; so long that we started to become tired and hungry. When we reached the strange building, a place called "Gas Station", we had collapsed onto the ground.
Orpi was cleaning himself from the yellowy slime of Moo-Moo's nostril. Orpi was a small (smaller than even us) who had one very large eye, and his insect like body was only as tall as our second knees.
"Up," Moo-Moo growled at us, kicking one of us in the side. We yelped in pain, and stood waiting for orders.
We were told to wait outside as Ghart and Oink investigated the inside of the building. Moo-Moo stood watch, making sure we didn't run off. Moo-Moo sat at the base of one of the 'statue machines'. He took out a long knife with a wide blade and began cutting large chunks out of the ground.
The knife made sparks on the grey rock underneath it. Orpi walked in circles, muttering in a language that we didn't understand, twirling his antennas around one another. We sat down on a rock, waiting for what was next.
The sound of the knife on the rock, shrrk, shrrk, became comforting to us after many minutes.
"What is happening," Pip (or Fib) said aloud. We rarely spoke aloud, but no one was around that could hear anyway. "why is it taking so long?"
Shrrk, shrrk.
"I don't know," We looked at the building. "This Gas Station place is weird, but this is what we dreamed of isn't it?"
"I can't tell. Here it is so dry and dusty and dirty."
Shrrk, shrrk.
"I wonder - " BOOM!
We could only see flames, all around where Moo-Moo now stood staring in horror.
Orpi jumped onto Fib (or Pip) and screamed something in that language again in their face. He pointed over at the road. We looked at each other. He was telling us to leave. To go. To be free.
We ran, ran as fast as we could, leaving Moo-Moo, Ghart, and Oink behind, who stared at the fire distracted.

The insides of the building looked like a small market filled with many sorts of treats. The establishment smelled of something I couldn't quite describe. "Ew," I said aloud, "What's that smell?" My voice made the humanoid sitting at the counter shoot upright and realize that he had company. Not being familiar with other worldly beings made the Earthing's expression one of discontent.
Ghart cleared his throat, "Hello, Earthing. Could you tell us where we could find some fuel?" He was being quite polite, which was very unusual for him. The being gaped. We stared at the humanoid waiting for an audible answer. That's when Ghart became inpatient and got out his Abolisher Zap. "LISTEN, you piece of SLIME!" ZzzzeeeeEEeee CRACK! he zapped a hole in the wall behind the Earthing, just to frighten it. Or maybe he missed...
We bounced easily onto the counter, the gravity here was nothing compared our home planet, and came face to face with the being. Coming closer the scent of the humanoid made me realize it was male. His eyes widened in fear, "Uh-ermmy-wabblalobyy," he choked out.
"My language communicator isn't working," I complained to Ghart and began messing with my antenna.
"It is. That was just a bit of Earthling-babble, get used to it." He laughed, "I'll abduct one before we leave, its hilarious. Especially the crazy old farmers." His cackling grew louder until it was silenced with another ZzzzeeeeEEeee CRACK! and there was a second hole in the wall. The man urinated in his suit, which I found an odd place to go, and then fell to the ground.
We searched the store ourselves. Ghart told me that the odor I was smelling was from all the packaging in the store. The material used for packing the treats was "plastic" which had a ghastly stench. "Here, I think I found some!" I said pointing to a package that had the words, "Citrus flavored" on it.
"That wouldn't do us any good," Ghart scoffed, "We need the acid from the fruit." That's when we heard a loud explosion come from outside. We didn't take our time leaving the foul smelling building. When we made it outside the scene before us was one of confusion and chaos.
Moo-Moo wailed in horror, "GGhhaarrrRRooooh!" Part of his foot had caught fire and he was hopping around. I stared at the fire in horror, while Ghart excitedly watched the flames eat up the nearby grass. "GGghhaarrrRrOoooOooh!" Moo-Moo hollered again, and began stumbling away from the flames. The three of us were about 8 body-lengths away from the fire when I realized we were missing our captives.

The road was dust filled. It was dry and it hurt for us to breathe. Small wavy lines appeared at the end of the road, looking strangely liquid, but whenever we reached where it had been, it moved further away.
It was warmer than our planet, Renwonk had ever been. Orpi twitched and flipped beside us, seeming to never lose energy. His cricket like blue and orange body eventually took the lead as we had slowed to a slug-like pace.
"We should get off of this 'road'. They could easily find us," one of us said. "Let's go this way."
"No, we could get lost. We should keep on the road as long as possible. At least it is heading somewhere."
"Could we at least teleport over there?" Fib (Pip) pointed over to a small group of buildings that Pip (Fib) hadn't seen before. We could only teleport to places we could see.
The buildings were long, and on the dusted hard ground, it seemed as though they were on wheels. Almost like a rolling ship.
"Alright, we can see what we can find there."
We held hands, and grabbed onto Orpi. With a loud warped sounding crack, and a jolt, we disappeared from the road and reappeared in the center of the group of buildings.
"Oh no," we pointed over to one of the buildings. "Quickly, before they see us." But it was too late. One of the small, young Earthlings had spotted them. It pointed up at them and opened it's mouth like it was going to scream.
"Go!" one of us teleported to it, and clamped our hand over it's mouth before it could make a sound. Before we knew it, we found we had teleported back to the road...with the Earthling.
"Great, now what are we going to do? We kidnapped it!"
Orpi was making a horrible screeching noise beside us, pointing with one of his legs.
"What, Orpi?!" We both snapped looking over at him.
We followed his pointed leg to the end of the road. Ghort, Oink, and Moo-Moo were running toward us.
"We have to bring it back!" "We have to get out of here!" We both yelled at the same time. We started to run in separate directions. "WAIT!" we yelled at each other.
"We have to bring the Earthling back!" One of us held it in our arms, it was no more than 6 years old, and it was clearly female, and it was only a little smaller than we were, just enough for us to hold.
"There is no time! We have to go!"
Orpi continued to screech and jump around like a psychotic cricket.
"Fine!" We grabbed onto each other and then teleported away. Not to the road, not to the small group of buildings to bring back the Earthling, but to where we had pointed to earlier.
The middle of the desert.

"GGhhaarrrRRooooh!" Moo-Moo yelled. We were now attempting to track down our loose captives. The pavement under our feet was blistering hot, so we were each sitting on one of Moo-Moo's shoulders. Ghart on the right, me on the left.
"Can't we just leave them here?" I wondered out loud. Ghart snorted, as if this was a ridiculous idea, and we continued to move forward. ZzzzeeeeEEeee CRACK!, he shot a hole in the ground. I didn't ask why. "Um, Ghart..."
"What!?" another ZzzzeeeeEEeee CRACK! came in contact with the ground. I was pretty sure that one was an accident.
"Aren't we looking for lemons? You know... Fuel. For the ship." Ghart snorted at me again. His mind was set on finding our captives. It was like a game for him, just another thing to shoot at. I sighed in annoyance, "Can I go wait in The Craft, or something?"
"If you're going to keep asking me stupid questions I'd rather you wait in The Craft."
I happily jumped off Moo-Moo's shoulder and started back from where we came from. Being from the planet Rwzoph gave me a very good sense of direction. The entire planet was filled with beautiful garden mazes, so all of us adjusted pretty quickly. I followed the yellow lines of the painted, rough, ground. In the far distance I heard a ZzzzeeeeEEeee CRACK!... Did Ghart think the captives were going to follow the sound of his Abolisher Zap?
~<>~<>~<>~A Few Whiles Later~<>~<>~<>~
The first sign that something was wrong was on the side of our ship. Instead of the beautiful letters of The Craft, all that showed was The CraP. The f and t were crossed out and replaced with a disgusting P. I stomped up the stairs to see who's doing this was. I found something unexpected waiting for me. All of our most loyal guards were slimed to the walls and all of our captives had escaped.
I walked over to Waffles, the humanoid suck to the nearest wall, and poked him. "Hello?" I said. I sounded weak, quiet, and a bit frightened. He didn't respond. "Hello!?" I repeated, louder. Waffles wasn't breathing. I tried to wake another one of the crew members. They were unresponsive as well. I searched the entire ship for anything alive. What I found instead was a note left for Ghart and I.
Oink and Ghart,
Go suck Lorkin toes.
It was signed by many slaves. The paper looked interesting because of all the different nationalities and cultures that wrote on it. I still found it rude though. Now all our captives were out there on this strange planet Earth. Ghart and I would never make it out of here without them.

"It's hot," we said together. The desert was flat and dry with strange plants that poked us when we had tried to touch them. Orpi had climbed onto it, just walking around the pokey needles and had made a laughing sound at us. Pip had smacked him into the dirt.
"That's because we're in the desert." The Earthling girl said. "And you guys talk funny."
We had been walking for many miles. Orpi had hopped from Pip's shoulder to Fib's (or was it the other way around?) for most of the walk. He screeched in our ears, trying to tell us something.
"We don't talk like this all the time," one of us said. "Yeah, see," the other one of us said.
"Where are you guys from?"
"The planet Renwonk," we said, again together.
"Can I go home now?" She said, sounding annoyed.
"NO!" We both yelled. "You cannot know that we are here! If Oink and Ghart find us, oh Xeneox what they will do to us!"
The little girl giggled. "Who are Oink and Ghart?"
"Our slave owners. Oh, what they might do to you—" Fib started. "—now that we have you! They could enslave you as well! Or maybe kill you." Pip finished.
"Okay…this isn't fun anymore…I want to go home!" She stopped, turning back.
"No!" We yelled. Pip spun around, grabbing her arm. She began to cry.
Orpi jumped up and down in front of us, screeching again. His little antennae pointed over yonder. There, standing in the sun were two large figures. Oink and Ghart. Or was that Moo-Moo? It didn't matter. They found us. We then heard the fateful sound ZzzzeeeeEEeee CRACK!
"Oh no! They found us!" We yelled loudly. "Run!"
The girl's eyes widened and she screamed a high-pitched scream.
"Be quiet!" We yelled, grabbing her arm again as she began to run away. "This way."
We pulled her forward and in our minds thought of the only place we could think of at that moment: The Craft.
