~<>~Cecil's POV~<>~
Glares were from everyone were directed at me. "Cecil?" Nathan prompted. At this point I should've just went and hid in the bedroom like Kynaree did.
"Okay, I know you all are trying to help Kynaree and I out right now. However, that obviously isn't going to work. What you don't understand is, Kynaree and I don't want the same thing. She wants a family. I don't."
"And you're going to give up Kynaree, just because you don't get something your way?" Rivers snorted.
"This isn't just some silly decision, raising children takes a lot of responsibility. And really, do you think I would be capable of being a good father?" After their expressions turned to one that said What an idiot, I decided to add on, "I let me remind you, I was raised my Rodger Frederick Cooksley..."
"Paranoid, stalkerish tendencies, and overly protective... You'd make a perfect father," Ethan pointed out. "Well, for a teenage daughter, I guess."
~<>~Kynaree's POV~<>~
We went to a large mall, where Trudie bought us smoothies and we all sat down at a booth. Valkyrie and Trudie sat across from me, Trudie slammed a notebook onto the table and took a pen out of her purse. "Okay, let's begin."
"What?" I attempted to say as meanly as possible.
"Tell me everything you hate about Cecil."
"Maybe we should start with the likes," Valkyrie suggested.
"No. I wanna start with the hates..." I grumbled, taking a large gulp of my mango smoothie afterwards. "First off, he doesn't wanna have kids. Second, he's a liar. Thirdly, he's a know-it-all. Fourth, he won't let me get a kitten. Fifthly, he treats me like I'm five years old sometimes."
Trudie scribbled down everything I said, as I tried to think hard about everything I didn't like about him. A lot of his flaws were what I loved most about him. "What else?"
"He snores."--really cutely I didn't add at the end. Now I was just making up stuff just so the cons list was bigger. "He's all paranoid and over-protective. And he's a mess if he doesn't get his coffee fix. He's always complaining about Rodger bugging him and about work... He always has something negative to say."
"Okay, what about likes?" Valkyrie suggested again.
"I don't like him, not right now."
"C'mon," they both said.
"Okay, I like how he smells like coffee. I sorta like his smile a lot, especially when he shows his teeth, because it feels more special then anyone else's grin because it feels rare. Well, he has really nice teeth, they're perfect, even if they are a little too big for his mouth. --- Well, basically he has good physical features. I mean I thought the accent was annoying at first, but now I think its kind of wonderful."
"How can something be kind of wonderful?" Trudie criticized.
"Like, most of the time it is, but right now its not. Hmmm... I like making Cecil happy. Its more of a challenge to keep him happy then a normal person. And I like that he's not a normal person. I like his whole low self-esteem thing too."
"How can you like that your boyfriend has low self-esteem?" Valkyrie asked.
"He's not my boyfriend anymore, and I thought it was adorable.--Oh yeah, I like that he's adorable."
"Woah, there's a lot more pros than cons..."
"I'm not done!" I snapped, "He forgot Valentine's Day last year, and he refuses any surprises. He never says I love you. He refuses to call me 'love' because he thinks its too cliché, even though I know its the best when 'love' is said in a English accent because, I mean, its all luv, ya'know?"
"Sorry, but most of your cons are really stupid." Trudie said.

~Valkyrie's POV~
"Sorry, but most of your cons are really stupid." Trudie told Kynaree.
"I agree." I said siding with Trudie.
"Well! You try thinking of something better!" Kynaree yelled frustrated. I sighed, this wasn't any use. Kynaree could be stubborn if she wanted to be.
"Kynaree I've heard your mind before...I know how you feel about Cecil and a lot of these cons are ones that you are making up because you are just angry with him" My response from her...a glare."Kynaree you know its true, heck you even lied about his snoring. Its not hard to tell when you are lying." I crossed my arms over my chest sitting back in the chair.
"How am I supposed to hate him if you are making me think positive stuff about him!" She countered.
"That's the point! We want you two together. Just because you may want different things doesn't mean that you are not meant to be together. It just means you have to make more compromises." I tried explaining to her. While she sat in silence I finished my strawberry smoothie and got up to throw it away. When I returned they were still sitting in silence. This was one of the few times I missed being able to hear Kynaree's jabbering in her mind. I wanted to know what was running through her head and figure out what she was going to do next.
When Trudie and Kynaree finished we headed back to the house to find Nathan, Rivers, Frédéric, Luc, Sébastien, Eugéne, and Benoît all sitting in the living room, most of them crammed on the floor, drinks in hand (If they spilled I knew Trudie would kill all of them), watching a basketball game.
I went to go sit by Nathan but realized that the couch was taken up. He read my thoughts and sat to where I could sit on his lap but I smiled and shook my head. Kyanree, Trudie, and I headed into the kitchen were Trudie fixed us up two virgin chocolate martinis. We headed back into the living room confused on where we should sit.

~<>~Kynaree's POV~<>~
There was a brief second where I wondered where Cecil was, but then I remembered I didn't care. I sipped on my chocolate thingy and began thinking optimistically. I was single again, that meant I could start fresh, date whoever I wanted. A smirk formed on my face as I realized that the whole living room was full of Rivers friends. His friends had to be okay. "Trudie!" I said.
"Yes?" She looked hopeful because of my switch in mood.
"You have to introduce me to Rivers friends and tell them about my terrible break up!"
"Um.. Why would she do that?" Valkyrie wondered.
"Because, I'm single," I cackled. Trudie looked annoyed at first, but then she smiled to herself and agreed. I followed her back into the living room, Valkyrie was behind me, we all had our yummy drinks in hand.
~<>~Cecil's POV~<>~
I sat sulking in the room Trudie assigned me. I wasn't in the mood with watch sports with the guys, sulking was much more relaxing. I would've preferred being in my own home, but no one would let me leave. My bags were already packed, I didn't see the point in staying here. Everyone hated me right now.
About two hours into my moping Trudie and Valkyrie walked into the room, looking very mischievous. "C'mon Cecil, you can't stay up here forever," Trudie said.
"Come and hang out with the guys, it'll be good for you. Get your mind off... things." Valkyrie agreed.
"I'd much rather stay in here."
"Really? You're going to argue with us..." Trudie smirked, "Valkyrie can get Nathan anytime she wants. Would you rather walk downstairs, or be humiliated and dragged downstairs?"
Grudgingly, I got up and followed them out the door and down the stairs. Eugéne and Frédéric were the only friends of Rivers that stayed longer than the rest. Eugéne and Rivers were still talking about someone being drafted next year, I didn't keep up with basketball so I wasn't really sure what it all meant. Meanwhile, Frédéric and Kynaree were conversing.
She seemed totally over our break up, I guess the girls out thing really helped. Frédéric was blabbering away in his French accent while Kynaree batted her eyelashes in a flirtatious way. A pang of jealously struck me and my expression immediately turned into a scowl. "I'm going back upstairs," I told Trudie and Valkyrie.
"I don't think so," Valkyrie laughed.

~Trudie's POV~
Cecil wasn't too happy when Valkyrie and I dragged him downstairs to find Kynaree flirting with Frédéric.
"I'm going back upstairs." Cecil announced.
"I don't think so," Valkyrie laughed.
We both grabbed an arm and dragged him farther into the living room. He just stood there and stared at the T.V. "Would anybody like anything to drink?" I asked in a loud voice so that everyone could hear me.
I got a couple of different responses so I exited to the kitchen fast so that I wouldn't forget. I pulled out a beer for all the guys, a virgin chocolate Martini for Valkyrie and Kynaree, and a Strawberry Daiquiri for myself. I hauled them all into the living room on a tray and set it on the coffee table for everybody to grab what they asked for.
I went over to the chair Rivers was sitting at and took my place on his lap and laid my head on his shoulder.
A couple hours later we were all still sitting there watching T.V. when Valkyrie announced that her Nathan, Kynaree, Eugéne and Frédéric all had to go out to make sure everything with the bachelor/bachelor-et parties are all set up for Thursday. We decided to have the parties on Thursday so we are not going to necessarily be drunk walking down the aisle.
Xian and Ethan decided to go out because they were tired of sitting around the house all day, and made Cecil go along, maybe some fresh air will do him good.
This meant that Rivers and I had the house to ourselves.

~<>~Kynaree's POV~<>~
Frédéric, Valkyrie, Nathan and I went out to plan out the super bachlor/bachlorette party. Frédéric found us a nice place to talk about the party. It was a small cafe near Trudie's house, nobody ordered any drinks-- not after all our drinks at Trudie's. Surprisingly, we actually got a lot accomplished. Thankfully, Frédéric was there to order up the hotel rooms. None of us were that great at speaking French.
"Vwat do we do now?" Frédéric asked afterwards.
"We can just chill out," I suggested. Valkyrie and Nathan agreed, I was sure it was because they wanted to give Trudie and Rivers time to themselves. My mind was thinking the same thing. They hadn't had much of a break since the whole crew came along to visit.
So we chilled out, we listened to Frédéric tell us jokes and stories. Just sitting and listening was relaxing. It got me thinking. Cecil wouldn't ever had sat down calmly telling us stories or jokes. By now he would've been on his seventh cup of coffee pretending to pay attention. Being twitchy and paranoid, waiting for someone to pop out of nowhere and kill us. Frédéric was so much easier to be around.
"Madam, your 'air iz so bright," Frédéric complimented. Valkyrie and Nathan left to---my only guess was the bathroom. I wasn't exactly sure why they were going at the same time though. "And your eyes, so lovely."
I giggled like any girl would've, "Thanks," was all I could manage out.
"So, 'ow iz it see'suhl lef' such a lovely lady hm?" His grin was bright, his eyes beautiful, and his face was perfect. His black hair was parted to the side, and cut just above his ears. To answer his question I shrugged.
"I actually broke up with him."
"Of courz," he laughed.
~<>~Cecil's POV~<>~
Ethan and Xian were totally and completely insane. I didn't know how they stood each other's company. Ethan was bouncy and excited about everything. Xian was pessimistic and dull. "Oooo, look at that statue!" Ethan exclaimed. Xian humphed, and I shrugged.
"I love Paris, its beautiful..." Ethan sighed.
"Eh" from Xian and another shrug from me.
"Omigosh! A mime!" Xian and I exchanged a quick look at each other and Ethan left to have his fun with the mime. Silence stood between us for quite sometime.
"Well?" I said.
"Well what?"
"Aren't you going to try and 'talk some sense into me'?" I asked, getting tired of waiting.
"No," Xian replied, "I don't really care."
"That's awfully nice." Sarcasm.
"People come, people go. What're you gonna do about it?" That brought me down more than usual. I already lost everything today, it made me realize how miserable I must've made Kynaree. Was this what she was talking about when she told me I brought her down? I mean, I was in a bad mood sometimes, but I wasn't this bad was I?
"Its probably a good thing, right? I mean, she shouldn't have to live with my complaining. The only person who benefited out of our relationship was me."
"The way I seen it, you brought her back to reality. I mean, what would Ethan be like without my depressing mood?"
"Insane... Well, more insane."

~Valkyrie's POV~ I got up from the table and told Nathan with my mind to follow me. I knew from Kynaree's expression that she thought we were both going to the bathroom but really I needed to talk to Nathan about all of this. I couldn't believe Kynaree was flirting with another guy already, just after her break up with Cecil. I mean I understood that Faeries could be easily distracted but I figured that with how deeply in love with Cecil that she was that it would take her a lot longer than a day for her to get over him.
"What's wrong?" Nathan asked once we were alone.
"I don't like this. Kynaree shouldn't be flirting with another guy already. I mean what about Cecil, she can't seriously be over him this fast." I said biting my thumbnail like I usually did when I was agitated about something. I had never used to but once I turned human it had become a bad habit.
"I think its a good thing that Kynaree is moving on already. I never did think Cecil treated her like she deserved to be." Nathan shrugged. I stared at him wide eyed. He had never told me this before.
"Cecil keeps Kynaree somewhat sane. He brings normalcy to her life, brings her back to reality." I glared at him.
"He's also lied to her, and never showed her much affection." He countered.
"Just because he doesn't show her much physical affection doesn't mean that he doesn't love her. I still remember all the things he has thought about her before I turned human. You should have too, unless you tuned him out because of the fact that you don't care for Cecil."
"Look honey I don't want to fight about this right now. I just think that maybe Frédéric would be better for her then Cecil." Nathan put his hands on my arms trying to calm me down.
"Who said we were fighting Nathan. We are just discussing this. How do you know Frédéric isn't just going to try to seduce her with that French accent of his just so he can get her into bed with him? damn I wish I could read his mind...I can't believe it I actually miss all the voices in my head."
"Will you feel better if I look more closely at his thoughts? Then if he is just trying to have a one night stand we can get Kynaree away from him." Nathan suggested.
"Yes...I'm still mad at you though. I don't think its fair for Cecil for Kynaree to be over him this quickly. I know Cecil will take forever to get over Kyanree...if he ever will." I crossed my arms across my chest.
We both fell silent after that and headed back to the table where I plastered a fake smile on my face. Yes I wanted Kynaree to be happy but I also wanted to make sure that she wouldn't get hurt. She was one of my best friends, I would kill anyone that hurt her.
Nathan leaned over to whisper something to me that only I could hear, "That means you need to kill Cecil." I glared at him and he shrugged giving me the 'I'm just stating the truth' look. We sat there for another hour until we decided it would be best to get back to Trudie's. I was having a hard time keeping my eyes open any longer, and when I looked at the clock I realized why. It was almost 11:30 p.m.

~Trudie's POV~
Rivers and I got a couple hours of quiet while everybody was out talking, or whatever they were doing. Wherever they went, I hope they talked some sense into Cecil and Kynaree. Those two are just meant to be together.
Rivers ended up falling asleep, where we were, entwined together on the couch. I had to say, that if I slept, I would have too. I was just so comfortable in his arms and I'm guessing the thought goes both ways.
I was watching a soap opera when the guys came in. It was almost 11 o'clock. I could tell they were trying to be quiet but in the process they were being extremely loud. I don't know how Rivers didn't wake up.
Xian and Ethan went to the room they were staying in and Cecil motioned that he had to talk to me. I managed to get out of Rivers hold and walked to the kitchen.
"Can I crash on the couch? I'm gonna leave tomorrow, if Kynaree wants me too." Cecil said.
"Cecil, your my friend too. I hope you see me as a friend anyways. What I mean is, I want you at my wedding. Its only a couple of days away, can't you stay?" I complained when he mentioned leaving.
"I'll stay, but only if Kynaree asks me too. I'm not gonna be somewhere I'm not welcome."
"This is my wedding, not Kynaree's. You are welcome here, Kynaree is one person." When he didn't say anything, I continued. "Alright, you go ahead and leave. There is another room for you to stay in, for tonight, or longer if you decide to stay." I walked up the stairs, Cecil following, I showed him a room that he could stay in. "You sure have a way of making people dislike you." I said walking out.
I went back downstairs and sat on the couch. I was starting to worry about the girls. I mean how long could it take to put final touches on the parties, it is almost 11:30, but in the middle of my worrying they came through the door. We sat in the living room for a little while talking about tomorrows plans. It was about midnight when they all went to bed and I dragged Rivers up to our bedroom. He fell asleep again right when he hit the pillows. That left me to worry about the fact that our wedding was only a couple days away.
~Rivers POV~
I woke up and looked at the clock, it was only 7 in the morning, I must have slept soundly to wake up this early. Trudie was still laying next to me, only this time she wasn't reading, she was just laying there staring at the ceiling. I wonder how she can deal with not sleeping and just staying up all night when everyone else is sleeping. It doesn't sound like too much fun, just sitting there all night.
"What are you thinking about?" I said scooting closer and wrapping my arms around her.
"I was just thinking about the wedding and how its only a couple days away." I could tell she was worried by the way her voice sounded right now.
"Trudie, its gonna work out. It always does. You worry to much." I said to make her laugh, she smirked.
"I know, but--"
"No 'but's. Everything will be fine, they all have it under control."
"I know, I just feel like I should be doing more. I mean, it is my wedding."

~<>~Cecil's POV~<>~
I woke up to my cell phone blaring out an annoying ringtone, a ringtone I could only use as my father's. I really thought about letting it go to voicemail, but I figured he should know what was going on. "Hello?" I answered, trying to sound awake.
"Hey, what's up?" he sounded cheery. I checked the time, 5:36AM was shining at me from the digital alarm clock.
"Why on Earth are you awake at 5:36?" Please let me fall back to sleep after this.
"4:36!" he corrected, it was too early to remember he was running an hour earlier. "I'm on a nocturnal schedule right now. Thought I'd give you a wake up call. I didn't wake up Kynaree did I?"
"Nope, she broke up with me yesterday, so she's in a few rooms away from me," I gave him this news as casually as possible.
"Oh..." he said, "That wasn't a joke was it?"
"No."
"Well, you tell some pretty bad jokes, so I had to make sure." He paused, "What's your plans to get her back?"
"There aren't any. I'm just gonna go back home today."
"You're not coming back home you're staying right where you are. I swear, if you come home I'll.. do something bad. You're sticking it out through that wedding." I could only imagine what he meant by bad. What? Toliet papering my house, lecturing until my ear falls off--- in an extreme case getting me fired. I could move. I could go back to the U.S. and get my position back there. "Cecil... I'll talk you later. Don't be stupid." He hung up.
I wasn't going home.
~<>~Kynaree's POV~<>~
I woke up the next morning after our long party planning. We decided to call the bachelor-bachelorette party the "Pre-Wedding Party", because the other name was getting annoying. Unsurprisingly, I tossed and turned all night without Cecil next to me. I got up early, knowing I wasn't going to fall back to sleep. I made my way downstairs, only to find the smell of coffee brewing. My nose enjoyed the scent, I pinched it while trying to convince it that it was a bad nose.
Cecil was already on the couch, watching the weather channel. I thought about running back into the bedroom and sitting in there until somebody else was awake. It seemed like a weak thing to do, so I walked over to the couch and sat on the furthest cushion from him. The silence felt heavy.
"Good morning," he finally said, without even glancing at me. My eyebrows scrunched together, now he thought he was being the bigger person...
"Uh-huh," I replied coldly. A few more moments passed where there was no conversation. I tapped my fingers across my leg, impatient for someone to wake up, for someone to break this silence. I couldn't stop my eyes from darting at him every few seconds, his gaze never left the screen. "So, when are you leaving?" I asked.
"Huh?"
"When. Are. You. Leaving?" I repeated slower.
"I dunno," he shrugged. "Trud wants me to stay for the wedding. I was thinking about staying 'til then."
"But... These are my friends," I said. "Trudie was just trying to be nice." He didn't respond, instead he smirked. This was the first time I actually considered punching Cecil in the face. The consequences didn't seem worth it. "Whatever, go ahead and smile. I hope you're happy," I grumbled.
"I'm not," he assured me as Trudie walked into the room.
"I thought I heard someone awake," she left to get herself a cup of coffee.

~Trudie's POV~
I went into the kitchen to grab a cup of coffee. I was happy to see that Cecil and Kynaree were talking again, so I took my time getting back into the Living Room where I took a seat on a chair so that I wasn't in the middle of Cecil and Kynaree.
Unfortunately, what I thought I seen between Cecil and Kynaree wasn't what actually happened. Yes, they were talking, but not in a cheery 'making up' talk. More a 'I'm sitting right next to you and it would be even more awkward if I didn't say anything' conversation.
"So, whats the plan for today?" I asked after realizing that no one was talking.
"Well, we are planning on leaving around 7 tonight." Kynaree said. "But, I can't tell you where we are going."
"Mmhhm" Was my response. "So, Cecil. When did you wake up?" I asked changing the subject when I realized (1) they aren't gonna tell me what we are doing later and (2) Cecil wasn't talking.
"Pretty early. My phone rang." He replied.
"Who would want to talk to you?" Kynaree asked.
"Kynaree, be nice." I scolded her, this was not working, she was being so stubborn. They both were.
"If you need to know, Rodger wanted to talk to me."
"Cecil, can I talk to you in the kitchen?" I asked him.
"Sure" He said standing up and heading for the kitchen.
I glared, not generally at him, or at Kynaree, just glared. "Cecil," I announced when we got into the kitchen, "Did you think about whether you were gonna stay for the wedding?"
"Yeah, I decided that I would stay, but only for the wedding and then I'm gone."
"Okay, I understand, I guess. But, can you at least try to enjoy yourself?" After I said this the phone started ringing. "Excuse me, but don't go anywhere, I'm not done with you yet."
"Hello?" I answered the phone.
"Hey Trudie. This is Rodger."
"Hey, hold on, Cecil is right here."
"No, I wanted to talk to you. Hopefully you can help me."
"Oh, okay." I said walking into the other room. "Whats up Rodger?"
"I need your help to steer Cecil and Kynaree back together. Since I am not there to help him, I need you to." Rodger said, with a slight business tone to his voice.
"Rodger, that is exactly what we have been trying to do. They are just meant to be together."
~River's POV~
I walked downstairs after my shower and seen that Kynaree was the only one in the Living Room, she couldn't be the only one up. I mean, I know Trudie is up for sure. She could be anywhere.
I took a seat on the Luv seat and asked Kynaree where Trudie was, and who else was awake.
"Trudie asked if she could talk to Cecil alone, they are in the kitchen. I don't know if anyone else is up and moving yet." She said in a quiet voice.
"Oh, well, excuse me. If you don't mind." I got up and walked into the kitchen to find Cecil getting another cup of coffee. "What cup is that now ?" I said sarcastically, grabbing a cup for myself.
"I have only had a couple." He answered.
"Where did Trudie go? I heard she was in here."
"Phone rang, she took it into the other room."
"Okay." I said, walking back into the living room. Assuming Cecil was gonna follow me.

~Valkyrie's POV~
Nathan was still sleeping when I awoke so I gently eased myself from the bed so as not to wake him. I headed into the living room where Cecil and Rivers were just watching the morning news.
"Morning Valkyrie" Rivers greeted me. I nodded my head at him still half asleep and plopped down in one of the chairs and laid my head on the arm rest. "Nathan still sleeping?" He asked me.
"Uh huh." I said in between a yawn. "He's finally sleeping in for once so I didn't bother to wake him."
"Ah I see, probably been wearing him out with all of your mood swings and cravings lately." Rivers joked.
"Yea probably. I'd be worn out too if I was him." I grinned. I looked at Cecil real quick and saw that he was just staring at the television screen, barely blinking. "You okay Cecil?" I asked him. He seemed like he didn't hear me at first and then he shrugged. "Are you staying?" I asked next even though I figured he didn't really want to talk to anyone at the moment.
"Yea just until the wedding is over then I'm leaving." Cecil told me. I frowned, why did this have to happen right before Trudie's wedding? I mean everyone is supposed to be happy when there is a wedding going on. Kynaree came in the room next and sat on the couch as far away from Cecil as she possibly could.
Trudie stuck her head into the living room saw that I was up and motioned for me to join her in the kitchen. I got up, stumbled a bit from still not being fully awake, and joined her in the kitchen. "What's up?" I asked her.
"Rodger called and told us that we head to get Cecil and Kynaree back together..like we already didn't know that." Trudie rolled her eyes at the last part.
"So how are we going to manage that?" I questioned her. "Kynaree and Cecil are both very stubborn when they want to be, it'll be next to impossible to show them how perfect they are for each other."
"I don't know." Trudie admitted. I sighed and felt cold arms around me. I smiled and turned around to see Nathan smiling at me.
"I take it Kynaree and Cecil are still fighting." He stated.
"Yes...We are trying to think of a way to get them back together." I explained to them.
"Trying and failing." Trudie sighed.
"Yea what she said." I frowned again.
"I'd love to help you hun but you know how I feel about those two being together."
"That's just because you don't really like Cecil." I glared at him.
"I'm going to go into the other room before you get mad at me and I have to sleep on the couch tonight." He joked and gave me a quick kiss before joining Cecil, Rivers, and Kynaree in the living room.
"We'll have to think of this later. I just heard your stomach growl and I heard Xian and Ethan coming downstairs. Time to start making breakfast." Trudie grinned.
"Trudie I'm always hungry now haha." I grinned back at her. I stayed in the kitchen with Trudie. I offered her help but like always she said no. I watched her prepare the food and smiled at her skills. Maybe before Nathan and I left I would have her teach me how to cook better for when Nathan and I returned the states and I had to cook for myself again.

~Trudie's POV~
I was happy to start breakfast because cooking wasn't just the 'art of preparing food'. It was my hobby in which I could do blindfolded and it would still taste amazing. Cooking was what I did, it is a part of me.
Valkyrie stayed in the kitchen and talked to me while I was cooking, but, I hate to admit I wasn't fully listening to her. I was thinking about what we were gonna do to get Cecil and Kynaree back together, which is most likely what she was talking about anyways.
I did hear when she told me about how when they were out last night Kynaree was flirting with Frédéric, and that got me thinking we could use that to our advantage. Maybe Kynaree won't listen to us, because she thinks that we are just out to get her, but maybe she will listen to Frédéric. Just because she doesn't know him, and she is not thinking straight right now without Cecil.
"I am gonna go tell them that it is ready." Valkyrie said, somehow breaking my trance.
"Okay." I said, realizing then that she had already made the table and everything really was all set to go.
"Looks Great!" Ethan said, taking his usual spot at the table. Everyone who followed him agreed.
I said 'thanks' and sat down after everyone else did.
~River's POV~
After breakfast, Trudie and I stayed in the kitchen to clean up, she washed the dishes while I put them away-- Since she didn't trust me to do the washing, and everyone else went back into the living room or to their rooms to finish getting ready.
"Rivers, do you like Cecil?" Trudie asked after it had been quiet for a while.
"I've grown to be more fond of him after we moved to France, and now he is losing my fondness, after this stunt he pulled here. Why?" I responded, she laughed.
"I just think that Kynaree and Cecil should be together, I mean, what is Kynaree gonna do without him. She doesn't really have anywhere to go, and they love each other, I know they do."
"Trudie, I think that you should let them decide that for themselves. I mean, maybe this is what they need, a break to let each other know how much they need the other. Besides, would they listen to you, if you tried to tell them otherwise?"
She didn't say anything, just finished up the kitchen.
We walked into the living room, hand in hand. I sat in the chair, the only open seat, and she sat on the floor in front of me, using my legs as a backrest.
The news channel was still on, although, no one seemed to be watching it.

~<>~Kynaree's POV~<>~
Dear Diary, Things are weird now. I mean, its hard losing your best friend & boyfriend in the same day. Its impossible to sit here without Cecil in my mind, it makes me feel all dramatic and like I wanna throw up. ---But faeries don't normally throw up, so its a little weird. Weird stuff... I'm almost about to cave, but its not really fair to forgive so easily. Especially when he purposely hurt me. I mean, I can't just say "Hey, I forgive you for lying. How about we get back together I don't care about kids." Because I do really care about having children. I wanna take care of someone instead of being taken care of all the time. ---Well, I'm done writing this stuff right now. Time for fun. Time for the Pre-Wedding Party! Time for Frédéric.
~Love, Kynaree~
We checked into the hotel and were in our rooms a little after 5:00PM. The boys went into the suite across from ours after Trudie reminded them dinner was at six. The room was huge, enough for Valkyrie, Trudie, Aimée, Michèle, Zoé and me. There was a bedroom with two queen-size beds Aimée, Michèle, Zoé and Trudie said they would share, although Trudie wouldn't need it. Valkyrie and I were stuck on the couch. I was okay with it, I still didn't know the French girls that much.
Once we got our suitcases inside everyone began getting ready for dinner. Aimée was gussying up for Luc, while Michèle sat around looking crabby and Zoé watched T.V. Valkyrie said she was taking a shower and Trudie offered to hang our clothes in the closet. We didn't decline. I sat on a computer desk chair and spun around.
Dinner came quickly.
~<>~Cecil's POV~<>~
We left for dinner with our suite in a disaster. Sébastien and Eugéne were just about as tidy as I was. In under an hour they had pillows scattered throughout the room, food crumbs and empty beer bottles on the tables. Benoît and Luc smuggled beer into the suite and were each on their third or fourth bottle. As we walked down the hallway I stayed in the back with Xian and Ethan, while Frédéric and Rivers walked in the front and the other four pushed each other around in the middle.
The elevator was a squeeze but we finally made it to the first floor. We waited there an extra 15 minutes for the girls to make it downstairs. I didn't know if I really felt like eating right now, but I wasn't about to argue-- I'd been ruining the moods of others enough. I was going to act happy if it killed me.
We had to scoot tables together to form a table big enough for the sixteen of us. We took our seats, I sat on Ethan's left and Rivers' right. I didn't look to see where everyone else bothered to sit, I really didn't care all that much.
The "Frenchies" is what I decided to call the groomsmen. Some of them babbled in French while others carried conversations in English so Rivers, Ethan, Xian and I could understand. Frédéric was sitting across from Rivers and discussing sports.
The girls soon came and took up the spots remaining at the table. Although I tried my best not to watch, I noted that Kynaree sat right next to Frédéric-- right across from me.
Thankfully, Trudie asked if she could sit across from Rivers, so Frédéric and Kynaree scooted down a chair. However, that left Frédéric across from me. I gritted my teeth together, fighting the feelings of jealousy. Kynaree isn't my girlfriend, Kynaree doesn't even like me anymore, Kynaree isn't my girlfriend... I chanted again and again in my head.

-- Xian's POV --
I sat there, poking the substance that was on my plate. The waitor had suggested I ordered it when I asked what was good. Mistake. I swear I saw it move on it's own.
I grabbed another slice of bread and buttered it to death and ate it silence.
Ethan, to my left, was animatedly telling about his first experience of Paris. I half listened to his embellishment on the dialogue, mostly on my part. I would never udder the phrase "The Eiffel Tower doesn't look like an ugly griaffe." It does. No matter what way you slice it. Ugly giraffe.
While Ethan was making up more and moe of the story, I could see Cecil in the corner of my eye tense. I followed his gaze to across the table. Frédéric was whispering something in Kynaree's ear and she giggle lightly.
The whole five seconds of time that it occured, made me want to throw my bread at there cliche little love scene. That is the moment when I saw Cecil stand.
He stood so quickly, he caused the table to rock, and Ethan's glass of water tipped over. Everyone looked up at him. His face turned slightly red, and with a sigh he sat back down.
We all, slowly, went back to normal. But I kept staring at Cecil, his head down slightly, eyes darting from side to side. Every once in a while he would look back up in Frédéric and Kynaree's direction.

~<>~Cecil's POV~<>~
Everyone thought I was a total nut-case, which I probably was. After sitting down I realized I probably should've said something like, "Excuse me, I'm going to the bathroom." And pretended I was perfectly normal. It wasn't often I lost my composure. Now everyone was on edge, waiting for me to drive the butter knife into Frédéric's head--- but that really wasn't going to happen. Not over dinner.
Besides, Kynaree didn't have anything to do with me anymore. I was here, not for her, but for Rivers and Trudie. Although, they weren't really my friends, I mean, the only reason they were keeping me here is to try and salvage our relationship. Which is sort of completely stupid because they seem to get along with Frédéric a lot more than they could ever get along with me.
Dinner ended and we split into a few different crews. One was headed to the bar, another headed to the casino, some headed to the pool, and I wasn't really sure where I wanted to go. Maybe up to the room and sleep this whole experience off. I wasn't in the mood for celebrating.
"Hey Cecil, you wanna join us at the bar?" Rivers offered. I couldn't say no, my other choices of destinations were pretty lame.
"Sure, sounds good."
~<>~Kynaree's POV~<>~
"Trudie! I wanna go swimming. Pretty please?" I squeaked. The hotel was supposed to have a huge pool from what the description on the site said. Trudie rolled her eyes, but agreed. The other bridesmaids split between following the guys to the bar and following us to the pool. Zoé and Valkyrie stayed with us, and Aimée and Michele followed them.

~Trudie's POV~
Kynaree wanted to go swimming, and after a while, she got me to agree. It is my bachelorette party, I don't necessarily wanna be swimming the whole time. I didn't mind going swimming for a little while though, so Zoé, Valkyrie, Kynaree and I all went swimming. While, Aimée and Michele followed the guys to the bar.
I mostly sat in the hot tub, but Kynaree did eventually drag me into the 'cold' pool to play a game of Marco Polo, before we left. After we all showered, we went down to the bar to find just Aimée and Michele sitting there waiting for us.
"Where are the guys?" I asked.
"They left about 20 minutes ago." Aimée said.
"Where did they go?" Valkyrie asked.
"I don't know, they just said they were leaving." Aimée shot back, meanly.
That didn't sit well with me, where did they go? Exactly how drunk were they? Did they leave the hotel completely?
"I'm gonna go get a drink, what would you like?" Zoé asked in Valkyrie, Kynaree and I's direction.
Valkyrie asked for a Virgin Strawberry Daiquiri, Kynaree said the same. I however needed something just a little bit stronger than that. Meaning, actually having some alcohol in it in the first place, I asked for a Margarita, and offered to help her carry them, but she declined.
We sat there in the bar for about 45 minutes, just telling stories and getting to know more about each other, sip by sip, because you know that the truth comes out when you are drunk. Then, finally the guys came back from wherever they went. Rivers took a seat next to me, and he reeked of Alcohol. "Where did you guys go?" I asked.
"We just needed some air. We went for a walk." He replied.
"A walk that takes an hour. I don't think that is what you were doing."
"We just went out and realized that we should come back because we didn't tell you where we were goin'"
I couldn't fight with him about this right now, I mean, It is our Bachelor/Bachelorette Parties. We are supposed to be doing something we will regret. I just hope he didn't really do something he would regret.
We joined the other conversation about how the girls were talking to they guys about how they better not let them trip walking down the aisle.
It made me happy to see Cecil and Kynaree talking again.
