~<>~Theo's POV~<>~
I knew I should have taken a longer walk as soon as I opened Cecil's front door and stepped onto his living room carpet. Chaos was happening throughout the house, except for where Rodger sat quietly watching the weather channel and sipping his drink. Cecil was dabbing violently at a stain on his black T-shirt, while I heard angry whispers coming from in the kitchen. Cecil rushed to the bedroom to change his now dirty shirt so I slipped into the kitchen where Trudie and Kynaree stood hissing at each other by the sink and microwave. Kynaree was usually gone by now, I frowned.
"He needs it" Kynaree told her, "You don't know what he's like without caffeine"
They didn't notice me walk in so, I eavesdropped on the rest of their conversation easily. "Kynaree..." she said sounding profound, as if she were trying to get something to sink into Kynaree's brain. "Do you realize how disgusting heated up Pepsi is?"
"No... but... caffeine" she mumbled, now she was starting to pout. She was trying to give Cecil heated up Pepsi? I glanced around the room and seen the coffee mug sitting on the counter and the empty Pepsi bottle beside it. I seen steam coming off the cup and I felt my lips curve up into a mischievous grin.
Trudie continued trying to convince Kynaree not to give him the coffee while I grabbed the mug and rushed into the living room making sure the liquid didn't spill on me. I was perfect timing because Cecil was just coming out of the hall with a clean shirt on. "Get that stain out?" I wondered trying to sound casual.
"When'd you get here?" he asked, his eyes narrowed slightly.
"Just a few seconds ago. Uh, Kynaree wanted me to give ya this" I told him handing him the mug full of steaming Pepsi. His eyebrows lifted and he scrutinized the drink.
"It's not decaf?"
"Nope" I answered trying not to smile too widely.
"Not poisoned?" he asked sarcastically glaring at my too happy expression. I tried to tune it down and he took the cup, he sat by his dad and started sipping his what he thought was coffee. I waited for the disgusted sound and the complaining of another shirt being ruined but nothing happened.
"Ohmigosh! Where'd it go?" I heard Kynaree shriek from the kitchen. She bounced out of the kitchen and her purple eyes searched the living room. I made sure to give her a big smile, just in case Valkyrie decided to tell her about me wanting to break up with her.
Trudie was close behind her and said "I can't believe you're actually drinking that!" to Cecil.
He shrugged and Kynaree's face glowed with pride "I told you he'd like it!"
Cecil wrinkled up his nose, "Well, it's better then decaf but..."
"But?" she asked wanting him to continue.
"Nothing.. Theo's here" he said pointing to me, Kynaree was distracted completely. Sure, she was cute, she had a wonderful smile, to sum it up she was faerie, all faeries had those characteristics. I knew I could find a faerie better then her, one that didn't chatter constantly or hang around psycho-freaks that she called friends. Someone that didn't put me second and her friends first. That was when an idea finally sparked in my head, I could make her choose between her friends and me. She would definitely break up with me if she had to choose.
I just had to do it cautiously, before any of her friends could catch on and destroy my plans. Kynaree had fragile emotions and I had to take my time and do this gently, "Hey, what're you doing back here already?" I asked.
"Well, Trudie and I just wanted to get out of the house. We were bored" she explained and skipped to my side. Trudie looked slightly annoyed, but went and sat on one of the empty chairs. "So Rodger" she said turning her gaze from my face to Rodger's still figure sitting on the couch.
"Hm?"
"Have you met Cecil's girlfriend Trudie?" Kynaree wondered.
"Girlfriend?" he sounded confused and his stare turned to Trudie. When I seen Trudie's face, I almost fell onto the floor with laughter but I remained standing silently. I wished I could see Cecil's face, but I was sure my casual facade wouldn't last if that happened.
"No, we're just friends" Trudie and Cecil said in unison, which may I add was weird because of the whole different accent thing. Everyone was silent for a little bit until Kynaree had to say something, because that was just her thing.
"Let's go back to Valkyrie's" she suggested, seeming kind of disappointed. Trudie agreed and said a short good-bye before leaving. I could tell Kynaree had some talking to do.
"Well, that was interesting" I commented taking a seat on the chair where Trudie just was.
"Yeah" they both agreed staring blankly at the television. It didn't take long until Cecil mumbled "I'm going to bed.." I heard him hissing something about school under his breath but I couldn't be sure what it was.
"So.. how was your day?" I asked, feeling like Kynaree because I kept talking for no reason.
"Eh, Cecil's been in a horrible mood all day" I snorted after hearing this. Geez, he even gets on his own father's nerves. He seen my expression and added on "Well, he's just kinda mad at me"
"He's always crabby, don't worry about it" It looked like Rodger wanted to say something else but he just shrugged and eventually nodded. Ever since I found out Rodger was Cecil's dad I wondered how two people so close and so alike could act so differently. I mean, Rodger is so much more easy-going and happier. And there's not much you can say about Cecil, he's just paranoid and weird.
"You can take the couch tonight" I offered, remembering he didn't get any sleep the night before. See I can be nice? Only to the right people.
"Sounds good to me"

~Trudie's POV~
When I found out that Cecil even liked hot Pepsi? I was a little freaked, I mean what was his propblem? Whatever, I didn't want to think about him. All I wanted to do was make if through whatever was to come of my life.
When we got to Valkyrie's house, all I wanted to do was sleep, but I knew that was out of the question saying as in I can't sleep. But all Kynaree wanted to do when we got home was talk. Talk about my love life, Why me?
"So, What is your type?" Kynaree asked me.
"Not that you ever cared before." I said hoping she would take the hint that I really didn't want to talk about it. But then again, we were talking about Kynaree...
"Come on, you have to be lonely. Valkyrie is with Nathan. Rayna and Tryst. Theo and me. What about you? I only ask cause I care for you."
"No."
"What? You can't tell me you don't care."
"No, I don't care. I would like it if you dropped it and let me find my own boyfriend. Who says I even want a boyfriend." I kept on going with random stuff, talking more to myself that Kynaree.
"Okay, I get it. I'll leave you out of it and do it myself."
"Do what yourself?"
"Find you a boyfriend." She said it like it was no big deal.
"No."
"Why?"
"Kynaree I said no."
"Fine." She said, even though I knew she had no intention of leaving it alone, but it ended the conversation.
I went into my room and started doing my homework. When I was done with that, I went to look for a book. Then I realized I hadn't gone to the library for awhile so I already read all the books I have from the library. So I went to see if anybody else in the house had one I could borrow for the night.
When I went to the living room to find no one, I looked at the clock. Two O'clock a.m. That could be why the room was diserted.
I watched T.V. for the rest of the morning and then, after what seemed like forever, I heard movement upstairs. Kynaree. I got up and started making breakfast figuring why not? She dragged her feet downstairs. "Hey Kynaree."
"Morning."
"Hey, Guess what!" I said happily.
"What." She muttered.
"It's friday, there is a pep-assembaly today." When I said that, I could have swore a light bulb flashed on over her head.
"Really," She didn't sound tired anymore. "Well, Thats great."
I wasn't exited for the assembaly anymore, I was a little scared, but what did I have to lose right?

~<>~Kynaree's POV~<>~
I tried not to freak Trudie out too much, but I was in a really great mood. I mean, everything was pretty much the way it should be. Except the psychotic war-thing but nothing really had happened in ages, maybe Oni just gave up. I was sitting there thinking about how many dead flies there must be in the ceiling of the school when Theo interrupted my thoughts, "Are you feeling okay Kynaree?"
It was lunch so our lunch table was filled with the usual people, in their usual spots. Like I said, the day was the way it should be. "Yeah, I'm good" I answered still trying to calculate.
"You seem really spaced out"
"I'm trying not to think about something" I told him, nudging with my chin towards Valkyrie so he knew I couldn't talk about it. Valkyrie whipped her head towards me when my mind accidentally thought her name. "I think we should go..." my eyes searched the lunchroom "Visit that weird girl" I said pointing at the so-called 'demon'.
"You know, she probably heard you call her weird" Cecil informed me, I forgot he was sitting near us and felt kind of guilty for ignoring him.
"Wanna come and talk to her with us?" I offered although Theo hadn't even agreed to yet.
"No, you two go help yourselves. I'm still under wraps remember?" he said twirling one of the hairs on his wig. His Winchester glasses slid down his nose every time he looked down to take another fry.
"She's going to know you're not just a regular human, seeing that you're sitting with vampires, werewolves, dartans, Trudie and us. Besides your disguise is stupid" I replied and pushed myself away from the table.
Theo got up with me and we strolled to the table where Ember sat. Cecil remained in his seat, so I plopped beside Ember, "Hey, I'm Kynaree" I said as friendly as possible. I tried to forget she was a demon, maybe they weren't as bad as they sounded.
"I'm Theo" Theo mumbled and took a seat on my other side.
"Ember" she replied and I gave her what I hoped was an encouraging smile.
"So... how are you today?" I asked, hoping to start a conversation.
"Fine" she replied even though she looked kind of uncomfortable, "You?".
"Wonderful" and then the bell rang, I couldn't help but notice she looked kind of relieved. Theo took my hand and lead me to the hallway where we started walking side-by-side. "Ember seems nice" I complimented.
"Yeah, sure" he agreed.
"So, see ya at the pep-assembly" I told him and rushed to my locker. Two more hours until the assembly started, I was so excited. When Orchestra arrived I couldn't help but look back at Trudie with a huge grin on my face. She looked afraid, I was pretty sure she didn't like surprises much.
When the announcement called over the speaker, I hopped into the gym along with all the other students. Except instead of sitting down like everyone else, I leaned against the wall and waited until everyone else was seated.
The speaker came jogged out into the middle of the gym and I followed him. "Hey, can I borrow your microphone?" I asked politely pointing to the piece of equipment he had in his hand.
"What for? You trying to pull some practical joke?" he wondered and glared at me.
"No" and then I started to explain that a friend of mine was lonely and was going to live forever without knowing love if I didn't do something soon. He looked skeptical but after hearing my short speech handed me the microphone. "Hello everybody" I said into the mic. I gave Trudie a smile and she looked sick. "You might not know me, but I'm Kynaree and um, well, can all the single males please line up in the front?"
Laughter rang throughout the audience and I heard some complaining from the girls, asking where the basketball players were. Nobody came and lined up, so I searched for Cecil in the audience. Someone had to stand up and start it so all the chickens would come up. I made eye contact with him and grinned widely, pointing at the floor beside me. He shook his head, but Theo helped by pushing him out of his seat. "Come on, does nobody want to go on a date with my friend Trudie?" I wondered and pointed to Trudie's redden face in the audience.
I couldn't help but smile with the crowd, they seemed so enthusiastic today. Nobody came up, "This assembly isn't starting until I see more guys up here!"
The speaker grabbed the mic out of my hand and apologized for the brief interruption. I refused to leave the stage until Cecil and Theo came down and dragged me back onto the bleachers. I took a seat by Trudie, "Sorry, I guess nobody wants to go out with you"
She had her embarrassed face hidden in her hands. "It's okay" I comforted, "I guess dying alone isn't really that bad"
When the basketball players came out with all the music and lights going on, I started talking to Trudie again "Maybe one of them wants to, they weren't in the crowd when I said the announcement" She still didn't say a thing. I couldn't give up now. If they were too embarrassed to come up there in front of everybody maybe I had to talk to them individually.

-~-Xian’s POV-~-
I woke up and my day wasn’t all that better. Apparently human hangovers are shorter than other creatures. Mine was still here.
I groaned and went to the bathroom and showered. I picked out my clothes carefully. It was a Friday and my favorite day of all time, besides Monday-Sunday during the summer.
I chose to wear my dark, looser fit jeans and my black AC/DC t-shirt. I put on my blue vans and wore my black leather jacket.
I walked to the car and got in. I didn’t feel like waiting for Ethan or caring where he was. I thought I would give him a free day today.
I got to school and walked in and went to my locker. I grabbed my chemistry book and walked to class. Chemistry was basic and simple. I had learned most a few years ago when we were with our ‘father’. It was a happy day so I didn’t want to dwell on that memory.
Chemistry went by pretty quickly. I had only taken a few notes on some new theory that was just come up with and I had never heard of…but other than that, everything was already known.
Geometry was boring as usual. I hated the class. Math in any form was death. History is very easy on every day of the week except Wednesday, the history teacher was also the football coach and he liked to spend that hour practicing with the football players while they had P.E. Wednesdays he usually spent all hour on a boring lecture. The sub for the other days was told to give us an assignment. TGIF. I finished the assignment in class. So far, no homework.
English we went to the library to read. I have been reading Twilight for the last few days, I was hooked. Lunch went by fast. I was alone for the day without Ethan there, so I just stayed to myself and sat by Cecil. He was arguing weather or not to go talk to the new girl with Kynaree.
An announcement came on the loud speaker, instructing us to go to the gym for an assembly. I sat down at the top in the corner; a large space separated me and the people in front of me. The wolves were to one side of me, but still a space. I felt comfortable to be alone.
Kynaree…oh Kynaree why? She took the mic and I immediately new this was going to be either horrible or hilarious. Thank God it was hilarious. She was pawning off Trudie to these low life teenage idiots. I felt so bad for Trudie.
I missed computer class because of the assembly so I went straight to study hall and read more of Twilight. After that, finally the last day of the week, the last hour of the day…my small bit of freedom from this place was almost here. Art was boring and slow. But finally when the bell rang, I was free to go.
I jumped in my car and went to the house. Ethan wasn’t there. And I realized that nothing had moved, nothing turned on, nothing touched. Ethan hadn’t come home last night.

~*~ Wyatt's POV ~*~
I kept looking in the mirror at the rising bump on the back of my head, the one I got when Rayna attacked me...I will never steal her food again, she's scary, but not as scary as Lydia when she saw the mess we made... I had to get out of that house and fast.
I was on the road now heading to pick up those one people from that one place, no one really gave me directions, or I just didn't take the time to get them, so I was going off of instinct now.
After driving for a couple hours the morning sun began to come up and I drove into a small town where the scent of wolf was strong I followed it to a hotel and pulled in to the parking lot.
There was a girl carrying a bag to a car, she was extremely pretty and I couldn't stop staring, as always that got me in trouble, I wasn't driving that fast but fast enough to take some one out or almost take some one out.
A tall blonded haired woman slammed her hands down on the hood of the car and I hit the brakes. I parked the car and got out of it, I automatically noticed that her eyes wer silver, I was never good at first impressions.
~*~ Rayna's POV ~*~
Normally I don't mind pep assembly's but today everything was just so freakin loud I couldn't take it, and I was kinda glad I missed it once I heard Kynaree's voice echoing from the gym.
I just wanted this day to be over, and I already had everything planned out for when the final bell rang. First, get tylonel, Second. go to Valkyrie's house, Third, eat her cereal since all the cereal was gone in my house and since Tryst won't buy anymore for his house cus he thinks I'm forming an addiction to cereal Valkyrie is my last resort.
I skipped the last minutes of school to get a head start to Valkyrie's house before she puts a lock on her fridge. No one was home as I walked in, I helped myself to the fridge and all of it's essentials and poured myself a bowl of lucky charms you know with all the little marshmellows and stuff.
As I was finishing the bowl of cereal I heard a door open and shut and footsteps making their way to the kitchen. Valkyrie peeked her head around the corner and gave me a small smile when she saw it was me then a little sigh when she noticed the bowl in my hands.
"I officially think you have an addiction" she said, I frowned and set the bowl in the sink
"You and Tryst both" I looked at her and she was giving me a weird look again, like she was the other days, like she was trying to figure something out.
"What are you doing?" I asked
She looked around the room real quick then back at me, her eyes narrowed in and she tilted her head a bit, I felt as if I was being examined...is this what vampires do before they decide to chow down?
I looked from side to side and decided to move away from her a bit.
"Look valkyrie I know I may look delicious and all but You don't have to eat me, you can have Wyatt when he get's back, ok?"...oh jeese i'm starting to sound like Kynaree know...
"Shhh" she shushed me then walked closer lowering her head to my stomach area
"uhhhh Valk...u ok?" I asked as I started to get a bit creeped out...I think she wanted to eat me, Oh no...
(Omg...this sucks, it was better then it all got deleted and I couldn't exactly remember what I had before so I kinda guessed and threw in random stuff...k...k)

~Trudie's POV~
I already knew the pep-assembly was going to be bad, because I saw Kynaree's face when I told her we had one this morning. But I didn't think it would be this bad. And thank God it's over. Right after the pep-assembly, I just went to my next class trying not to think what everybody else would be talking about. And what they would say about me. But before I had time to think about that I felt the feeling of a ghost.
I knew already I couldn't tell Kynaree, she was so freaked last time when I told her that she would be even more freaked if I told her who it was. Dr. D.
Why is the dead guy roaming the school? Why doesn't he just except the fact that he's dead?
Whatever. I didn't have time to think about that know. I just had to finish off the day and go to the library and get another bundle of books and go home into my room, lock the door, and read.
Maybe I should get a job. Then I wouldn't be so bored. Hey! Maybe even then I could make enough money so I could get my own apartment and move out of Valkyries. Then I wouldn't have to deal with Kynaree all the time. Oh well. I'll have to think about that later.
All of a sudden I heard some of the words being passed around me. The conversations ranged from 'Can you believe she is so desperate to ask her friend to do something like that?' to 'What kind of person would do that to the poor girl?'
Finally the day was over. When I left my locker, I saw Kynaree walking my way, so I started running for my car. I didn't want to deal with her here. Not in front of people.
I got to my car before she caught up and drove out of the parking lot. "Bye-bye" I muttered to myself.
When I pulled up to the library, there was a sign that said now hiring. Perfect.
I walked to the front desk, and asked about a job. She handed me an application and I took it and filled it out right then and there. When I handed it back to her two minutes later she said I was hired. I asked her if she needed to ask the boss and if she was sure. But she told me she was the boss and she was sure. I started tomorrow. Wow, wasn't expecting that.
I went to my favorite section and started picking up books that I haven't read yet. When I brought them to the counter the same girl who hired me said. "This is exactly what we are looking for." and checked me out.
When I got to Valkyrie, Kynaree was no where to be seen. Yay! I figured she was at Cecil's yelling at him. So I snuck up to my room with no one noticing, well at least not caring.
First, I finished my homework then I read. The Guardian, by Nicolas Sparks. It was supposed to be really good. Guess I'll find out.
Before I knew it it was the morning and I was pretty much done with the book. It was good.

~<>~Kynaree's POV~<>~
"I can't believe you" I told Cecil, as he, Theo, and I walked into his living room. Rodger wasn't there, he had left a note on the kitchen table letting us know that he was going out to go shopping.
"What?" he wondered looking completely confused, which was very unusual.
"What? What do you think?" I made sure my face was set into a mean expression, "You left Trudie hanging, now she feels all bad that not one guy came up into the front. You could've started it, everyone was too afraid to come up"
"Well, I was in character. Winchester was too frightened to come up because he has stage fright... besides do you think any guys are so desperate they'd go in front of a gym full of classmates to prove it?"
"It still would've been nice if at least one guy came up" I mumbled trying to find some way out of his logic. I finally gave up and exhaled a long sigh, "I have a new plan anyways"
"And what'd that be?" Theo asked peering at me from the couch.
"Well" I whispered and lowered my eyes to the floor, "Since you were a chicken Cecil.. can you like.." I trailed off.
"What?" he asked, now glaring at me.
"Hack into the school system and help me find the perfect guy for Trudie?" I said this in such a rush it sounded like one word. "Please?"
"Isn't that illegal" Theo asked and then added "While you're at it can you change my grade in Geometry?"
Cecil still looked undecided, "If it's too hard I understand, just try" I pleaded.
"It's not too hard" he retorted.
"Come on, just for Trudie. You let her down and now you have to make up for it"
He rolled his eyes and unplugged his laptop from it's charger, "Fine, only because I spit coffee all over her yesterday" I clapped and took a seat next to him. So I had Theo to my right and Cecil to my left on the couch. I kept my head over his shoulder until he told me not to look. I promised not to tell anyone how to do it but he insisted that Theo might talk me into telling him.
I sighed and closed my eyes, Theo didn't even defend himself when Cecil said that. All he said was, "Well, come on. Geometry's hard"
"That's because Kynaree's not taking Geometry with you. Therefore, you have no one to steal answers from"
"I don't steal answers, she just helps me"
I heard Cecil mumble something under his breath but I wasn't sure exactly what he said. "Okay, you can look" he told me. I opened my eyes and seen the list of highschool males.
"Alright, can we like eliminate people by certain things?"
"Sure"
"Okay, can sure they have no detentions, no bad stuff..." I went on with certain little details, that any other person would've ignored, but I had to make up for the pep assembly so I tried as hard as I could to find the perfect guy for her.
"Well, there's only about ten guys left..." he told me and shoved the laptop in front of me so I could look closer. "I'm just curious to why they have such detailed files for every student"
I shushed his question and looked over the guys remaining. There were some I crossed out right away, because I seen them act differently behind teacher's backs. The names left were people I never heard of and I ended up with five. Ron Morson, Rivers White, Fredrick Lane, Vince Armstrong, and Mick Jordans.
"Ron, Rivers, Fredrick, Vince and Mick" I said out loud and showed Theo all the people. "Do you know any of them?"
"Well, not really I think a few of them play basketball though. You might have a chance with them, seeing they didn't get a chance to watch your performance" Theo said pointing out the basketball players.
"I'm just going to talk to them all individually and then they can all have a chance to date Trudie. Then she can pick, I'm just helping her out"
"Alrighty then" he replied sounding skeptical but still smiling.

Valkyrie's POV~
I looked around the room again as I tried to figure out where the mysterious voice was coming from. The thoughts were still hard to understand and I still had trouble making them out. It was like whatever the thoughts were coming from didn't know how to talk yet. I walked closer to Rayna and she took a step back. The voice seemed to get louder the closer I went to Rayna yet it wasn't her thoughts. My eyes moved to her stomach which seemed slightly larger than usual, but not enough for it to be very noticable.
"Look valkyrie I know I may look delicious and all but You don't have to eat me, you can have Wyatt when he get's back, ok?" She said sounding like Kynaree.
"Shhhhhh." I hushed her as I moved my head towards her stomach where the thoughts started to increase in volume a bit.
"uhhhh Valk...u ok?" She asked me sounding worried. That was when I noticed her thought.
"Rayna I'm not about to eat you. You would taste to bad for one. Now shut up so I can figure out where these unrecognizable thoughts are coming from." I glared at her. I inched my head a little closer to her stomach and that was when I put the pieces together. I grinned and stepped back from Rayna not wanting to make her uncomfterable any longer.
"Well?" She asked.
"You might want to sit down." I told her.
"Why?"
"Because you wanna know why you have had the sudden urge for sugary breakfast cereal and why I am hearing thoughts that make no sense whenever you are around." I grinned again. She sat down knowing that if she didn't I wouldn't tell her.
"Hmm I've never had to tell anyone this before so I dont exactly know how I should go about saying this." I puzzled over it earning a very frightening glare from Rayna.
"Just spit it out." She almost yelled.
"Geeze fine ruin the suspence will ya. You're pregnet." I told her looking down at my silver and black finger nails.
"What? You're not serious are you?" She didn't seem to believe me.
"I am 100 percent serious. I mean unless for some reason werewolves are starting to get fat then I guess the voice I keep hearing could be something else but seeing as how in all of my lifespan which has been a very long time by the way I have never known a werewolf to get fat. So I believe you are pregnet." She put her face in her hands as if she didn't know how to respond to the news. I didn't even know how. I was inbetween being happy and well not caring.
"Wow. I mean wow. How am I going to tell Tryst?" She looked up at me with questioning eyes.
"Don't look at me I'm not telling him. It's one thing to tell you but to tell Tryst I'd rather get eaten by a mob of Dartans. Seriously I don't wanna face Tryst's anger. So good luck with that." I grinned again. I was having way to much fun with this.
"Gee thanks." She glared at me.
"Yup no problem." I said walking away from the kitchen. I couldn't wait to tell Nathan about this.
(This post soo reminds me of Aket damiana. Especailly in the 3rd notebook where lil aket is being taunted by lil nakita and they all think aket is crazy because they think she is talking to her self again. hehe i love that part)

(Sorry if this is short I only have another hour or so on my laptop and then i cant charge it till at least Tennessee)
~Trudie's POV~
I got up that morning hoping Kynaree would just forget about the whole finding my a guy thing. Seriously, I don't need one... that bad anyways.
Kynaree broke into my train of thought and said she needed a right around town, I figured why not I have no better way to spend my Saturday.
She gave me an address to go to so I did. I knew where this one was for some reason. She told me I had to wait in the car while she went in. So I turned on my new C.D. of Jason Mraz. We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things. and put it on Coyotes. I thought of Cecil every time I hear this song cause it talks about coffee.
After listening to three songs Kynaree walked out, came into the car and gave me another address.
"What are you doing anyways?" I asked her.
"Oh Cecil needed me to do something for him." She said, looking like she was hiding something. But I didn't think I wanted to know so I dropped the subject and drove to wherever she asked me to go.
After driving her to four more houses. We went back to Valkyries. When we got there, she said "Be ready for group dating tomorrow." Then got out of the car and walked inside. I tried to follow her but by the time I got inside she was long gone into her room with the door locked. So I went to watch T.V. It was only 6 in the afternoon.
(Like I said, Sorry that its short.)

--Xian's POV-- (Friday after school) I searched all through the house and nothing. Ethan was gone. Where could he have gone? I picked up the phone and before it could start dialing it started ringing. It made me jump a little. But I ansewered with a shaky 'Hello?'
"Its Roger, I am outside in the car. I have located her." He said her so destictly that I knew who it was. He hung up. Pfft, British.
I ran outside with a dizzy confused head. I was only inside for a few minutes, but the sunlight seemed to burn my eyes it was so bright. I saw the rental and went over to it.
"Hello Xian, this is for you. It is the location of Aurora." He handed me a piece of paper that was folded. It read, 234 Wilcox Av. That was only a few towns away.
"Thank you Roger."
"Yep. Is Ethan here? Cecil told me to ask him about his favorite coffee brand? He said that Ethan would know. I am going shopping and I dont know what kind Cecil needs."
"Oh, no I dont know where he is." And suddenly I put it together. "Did you show anyone else this adress?"
"No. Confidential of course. Why?"
"No reason. Thank you for the location but I got a go." I said in a rush.
"Of course." He started pulling away, but wiht the window still down I heard him mumble "Now what brand do buy?"
I ran as fast as I could.
--Ethan's POV-- (Thursday night) I was walking home from the mall. I was so angry at Xian. Why would he think I didnt care about Aurora? Xian was my best friend. I would anything to make him happy. I would never want to hurt him. Why am I the one to killl her?
Suddenly i felt a jolt and everything went black.
--Dr. Dartan's POV-- (Thursday night) I searched and searched for a body to take over. No one was good enough. I needed to get in a body so I could get my revenge.
Suddenly, there he was. Ethan. My favorite that I have ever created. oh how I loved him like a son. He betrayed me. I must destroy his life.
I jumped in his place and held on as tight as I could. Soon I was controlling his movements. This was going to be perfect.
(Friday morning) I ditched Ethan's body for a while. I needed to go in the school and get some information.
--Ethan's POV--
I woke up in grass behind the school in an alley way.
I walked inside to talk to Xian. I needed to tell him what was going on. Well, I still had no idea what was going on.
I saw Xian walking down the hall, but as soon as I went to cal out his name, BAM black again.
--Dr. Dartan's POV--
Leaving his body was a dumb idea. I need to be more focused. I ran out of the school. I waited for a few hours and went to a pay phone.
I ran to the pay phone and dialed Oni's cell phone.
"What?" Oni sounded pissed. Although he always did.
"Its me. Dr. Dartan."
"What the hell? I thought you were dead."
"Well, I still am, its a long story. I need information."
"What makes you think I will give you any?"
"Dammit Oni, if it wasnt for me, you would still be chasing Valkyrie and LOSING to Nathan. Now I need info."
Oni sounded even angrier but agreed to give me the info I needed. "I have an adress. Here you will find Aurora, kill her. Make Xian's life a living hell would you for me?"
"How do you know this?"
"I picked up a little British friend leaving Xian's. He is in the MMC."
"Oh, one of them. Make sure to kill him, would you do that for me?"
"My pleasure...but you better go quickly, Xian is on his way there."
"Oh, Illl make it."
He gave me the adress and I ran. I was going to enjoy killing that little brat.
--Xian's POV-- (Present) I ran to the adress. I passed block after block. I knew that this was it. Why else would he be gone?
How did he know the adress though? And why would he kill her?
There it was. The house. I ran inside and slammed the door into the house. I ran as fast as i could and quickly searched every room. The house was set back at the edge of town. The trees were just behind the house.
The trees.
I ran out the backdoor. I ran into the woods and saw two figures.
I broke into the clearing. Ethan lunged at Aurora's throat. Just like in my vision. It was happening. And I knew I ouldnt stop it.
I heard two simultaneous screams. Addy. I saw her at the edge of the trees, tears filled in her eyes. No. Not like this. NO.
The second scream was from Aurora. She lay on the ground, in a pool of blood. I could hear her heart flutter, and then it fell silent. Her eyes closed and she was gone.
I lunged to go after the fleeing Ethan, but Addy needed me.
I ran to her and held her in my arms as she cried.
I mentally started making plans for Addy, and what I was to do about Aurora.
She had no record, no one knew her but from school. All of school and even the falculty and administration knows she moved. They wouldnt know. i needed to bury her before some one found her.
I didnt have time to grieve. I only had time to plan and make sure I did this right.
I slung Addy on my back and started running.
"Addy?"
"Y-eah-eah." she said through her sobs.
"I am going to bring you to Valkyrie's. She will take care of you until I get back okay?"
"Where are you going? You cant leave me." she continued to sob, while I ran and planned.
"I need to sweetie. I need to find Ethan."
"I dont like him anymore."
"I know you dont.....Neither do I."
I ran into Valkyrie's driveway and slammed my fist on the door. Valkyrie came to the door and opened it. She was surprised to see me, and even more surprised to see Addy.
"Yes?" she said, confused.
"Aurora is dead. My vision came true. I couldnt control it. Ethan killed her, I need to go find him...I still dont know why he would do it." I realized that my words came out fast and I just blurted them out abruptly, but I was in a hurry.
"Okay, I am sorry." I could tell she really didnt care all that much, but she tried to make it better...that was somthing."But why is Addy here?" I knew she knew as soon as she asked, but I said it anyway.
"I need you to watch her. she was there and she...saw it all...she needs to be away from Ethan."
"Well,...um...I guess.." She looked unsure.
"Thank you." I put Addy down on the ground and knelt by her. "Valkyrie will take care of you. And if you feel bored of her, find Kynaree, she is the one with purple hair...shes crazy. Youll like her." I gave her a hug and she started to tear up agian."No, dont do that. Its okay. Will you be alright?" She smiled at me, but was still sad.
"Alright. Ill be back soon." I hugged her and she started to cry again.
I stood up and nodded at Valkyrie, and said "Thank you."
I ran. I ran back to where is all happened.
I picked up Aurora's body. Now I grieved.
My tears came down fast and hard. I never felt like this before. I felt like a huge hole was just dug out of my body. A gaping hole in my stomach. Ripping and making me feel like throwing up. i couldnt keep from crying. I would miss her. She would always be in my heart.
I dug a hole very fast at the near a cemetery. Back in the trees, where no other graves were. I set her in gently. I didnt have time for a coffin, I didnt have time to say last words. I just cried and picked a rose from a nearby bush by a grave and lay the rose on her chest, above her heart and covered her with dirt. I would truly miss her.
I wiped away the tears. I got up off my feet and started running in the direction I saw him go in. I just wanted to know the reason he would do this.
I ran and ran. I might never find him.
(Well, there you go guys...shes dead...lol)

The week was pretty much boring, except for the few companions I was making. I had to admit that I was horribly nervous about these interactions, but I was pretty sure that if I lost control Valkyrie would be able to stop me. Suddenly my stomach twisted at the thought. The memory of the darkened one room schoolhouse broke into my thoughts again. I immediately tried to push it away, but to no avail. Other memories started leaking through. I grabbed the tree's trunk I was sitting in with terror. When the memories came back they were like the nightmares you get that you are trapped in, no matter how hard you tried you couldn't wake yourself up. My pulse sped up. (italics are memories =D) I was six years old, so innocent, so pure, sitting in my mother's rocking chair in her room. I was talking to a rag doll mother had made me. The hair was made of golden yarn, the eyes with emerald buttons, and the mouth and nose with pink stitching. The doll wore a little lilac cotton dress and little blue shoes. That doll had been my only friend. All of the children feared me. Of course at the tender age of six I had no idea what I was. Whenever the other children would make fun of me or hurt me I would come running to my mother. She always had tears in her jade eyes. My mother was what you would call a classic beauty. She had long flowing golden tresses and of course those soft, caring jade eyes. she was pale, but not in a sickly manner, and she was tall, her legs seeming to go on for miles. She was always so caring, putting everyone before herself. My mother always helped the community, going around to nursing homes, participating in blood drives, and all sorts of events. My mother called me her little rose, because whenever I smiled my cheeks would turn scarlet. She loved me with all her heart, but she forgot that all roses have their thorns, and some roses thorns cut deeper than others. One starry night mother and I were playing out in the meadow. The grass was damp beneath my feet and the earth soft. Mother was using a little book light to read while I tried capturing fireflies in a jar. I watched as their little ends softly glowed and faded and lit up again. I managed to catch a few and watched as the entire jar lit up like a faded lantern. A small smile came to my face. Suddenly it disappeared because I saw that man at the corner of the meadow staring at mother behind the light of his lantern. I looked over at her and she had looked up to smile at him too. That wretched man's name was Kyrin (K-eye-rin), and I hated him. He had treated me like dirt, but my mother never believed me. She was trapped in the grasp of what I viewed as a hopeless romance. Kyrin strolled over to my mother and planted a gentle kiss on her cheek. "Mommy, can we go home?" my little voice squeaked, my eyes wandering over his annoyed expression. "Little girl you need to stop whining so much." His slight English accent filled with venom. My mother ignored his rudeness and kissed him. I watched her lips eagerly lock with his. My little pulse doubled. Why would Momma do this to me? How could she ignore me and let a man that absolutely detested my presence feel her up? I watched as the lip-lock grew in intensity. Kyrin laid upon my mother going to untie the ribbons on the back of her sundress. Right in front of me! How dare she?! Kyrin trailed butterfly kisses down my mother's flushed neck, stopping at the hollow. My mother let out a hushed back. My eyes widened in horror as that damned bastard started to undo his belt. My mother of course didn't care, she was deliriously blissful at the moment. Suddenly Kyrin's eyes flashed over to me. The look of absolute mirth entered them. My mother had a soft smile on her face which absolutely disgusted me. She pulled Kyrin closer to her. My pulse reached a new thundering speed. Without warning my vision reddened. The almost uncontrollable wrath and betrayal I was feeling was getting out of control. I picked up my little jar of dancing fireflies and smashed it on the ground. The jar smashed into the ground breaking it several large shards of glass. The fireflies quickly danced out of the fragments of glass. My mother and her stupid lover didn't seem to notice my rage though, they were to busy undressing one another. I grasped the largest shard, closing my little hand around it so tight that it pierced my skin. I watched as crimson liquid flowed from the flesh wound. It was painful, but I no longer cared. My emotional distress heavily outweighed the physical. My little breaths came in short little gasps. I was afraid of my inner demon. It was beginning to take control. I felt my thin stick-like legs start moving of their own volition, and then everything seemed to go a deeper shade of red. I screwed my eyes shut trying to hold back the demon blood that was trying to dominate the human. "Momma please! I don't like him!" I cried, hot tears coming down my face. I managed to get the movement of my legs back. My mothers eyes were closed as that imbecile kissed down her neck. Her expression became...annoyed? "Just go away you stupid little girl, I wish I would have never born you." And that was it. Everything happened so quickly from that point, it was like a blur. Me jabbing the jagged shard of glass into Kyrin's neck, him bleeding profusely and screaming obscenities at me. My mother panicking as she tried to help her lover from bleeding to death. Me shoving the glass shard into her chest. The pool of blood like a halo around the three of us as I watched the light leave her eyes, and the hot tears that came after. I had killed my own mother, and it was the fault of the demon blood inside me. I hated my father. Why did he have to captivate my mother and put the burden on her to raise a child from the netherworld? The last thing I recall was me just lying in her pool of warm blood crying for her to wake up. I suddenly was aware of my surroundings. My heart was racing at what seemed like a hundred miles an hour. My entire body trembled and sweat beaded my brow. I had made finger imprints in the oak trees bark I was sitting in. Somewhere in the darkened forest an owl hooted and a wolf let out its midnight lament. How could I ever trust myself with anyone?

~Oni's POV~
I watched as Rodger left the Dartan's house and I heard his thoughts about trying to find the right brand of coffee for his weirdo son. I followed Rodger in my Viper but I stayed back far enough for him not to be suspicious of me. He parked his car at a small grocery store and I waited a few seconds after he went in before following in behind him. I quietly sneaked up behind him while he was looking at the different brands of coffee.
"Hello Rodger." I said casually so as not to make a scene. He turned around carefully and I could tell he knew what was coming.
"Hello Oni, well I guess it would be best just to not put up a fight so as not to draw attention to ourselves but you will regret this Oni." Rodger told me fiercely. Instead of answering him I just chuckled to myself. I grabbed his arm and led him out of the store and into the back seat of my Viper and locked all the doors so he couldn't escape.
"Where are you taking me?" Rodger asked the typical question.
"Do you really think I would tell you that?" I laughed.
"Well it was worth a shot." He muttered. I was about to laugh again but my phone started to ring. I answered it on the second ring after I didn't recognize the number on my caller id.
"What?" I asked sounding pissed as usual. I wasn't prepared for the voice on the other end.
"Its me. Dr. Dartan."
"What the hell? I thought you were dead."
"Well, I still am, its a long story. I need information."
"What makes you think I will give you any?"
"Dammit Oni, if it wasnt for me, you would still be chasing Valkyrie and LOSING to Nathan. Now I need info."
I was starting to get pissed again and I could hear it in my voice "I have an adress.
"Oh, Illl make it." He sounded pleased by the information and hung up. I shut my phone and wondered to myself if Dr.D knew that Lian and I had planned to kill him. If he did then this was going to be one interesting event.
~Valkyrie's POV~
There was an awkward silence between me and Addy after Xian left. In her mind I heard the sorrowful thoughts that were running through her mind. I put my hand on her shoulder and gave her an awkward smile and walked back to the kitchen to see how Rayna was handling the news of her being pregnant. She was still standing there in shock and she looked up at me and grabbed her bag.
She was still trying to think of a way to break the news to Tryst. She muttered a quick goodbye and headed out of the house to her car. I grabbed her bowl from the counter and brought it to the sink to wash out. I heard someone enter the kitchen and I knew it was Addy. "It'll be okay Addy." I told her quietly.
"You don't know that." She said angrily.
"Well I guess I don't. Why don't you go find Kynaree to hang with, she's a lot more fun to hang around than I am." I told her smiling slightly.
"I did for a little bit but she's not here." Addy grimaced. I smirked and finished washing the bowl and dried it putting it back in its proper place.
"Oh I forgot she was at Cecil's house." I told her.
"So can I stay with you?" Addy asked me.
"Well maybe Trudie will hang out with you." I suggested still a little uncomfortable with the growing affection of the mini Dartan towards me. That was just what I needed a lil Dartan looking up to me for advice.
"I'd rather hang out with you though and plus she's not home either." Addy pouted. Nathan came into the kitchen then and I saw him frown slightly when he saw Addy.
"What is she doing here?" Nathan asked gently.
"Xian dropped her off and from what I have seen of her thoughts Aurora was just killed in front of her. So Xian figured this was the safest place for her while he hunted down Ethan." I explained to him.
"Oh." Was his brilliant response.
"Yea. Hey Addy stay here with Nathan I need to hunt." I told her gently.
"But I want to go with you." She wined. Since when did a Dartan like a full blood vampire? I sighed and tried not to look annoyed. I realized that she wanted to be with someone who would understand her pain but I couldn't deal with the pain that I would experience again from her painful memories.
"It's to dangerous for you to come with me Addy. Don't worry Nathan will take good care of you. I'll be back shortly and I'm not going very far just out in the woods to hunt." I explained to her softly. Dang kid was growing on me.
"Be careful." Nathan told me with a worried look in his eyes. I kissed him gently on the mouth and smiled at him.
"I always am." I headed out of the house and into the woods. I started running through the woods and didn't realize how far from home I was getting before a painful memory hit me that wasn't one of mine. In my mind I saw a bloody hand holding a broken shard of glass. The image left me breathless with pain and I wasn't ready for the next flash that entered my mind.
In the flash there was a younger version of Ember lying in a pool of blood. Somehow I knew it wasn't her blood though. My vision slightly blurred and it took me a few minutes to recover from the strong forceful memories. Ember was close and I knew I had to find her. I caught her scent in a slight breeze and followed it. There in a tree sitting on a branch was Ember trembling from the memory that still haunted her. From the look on her face I was glad that I hadn't seen the whole memory.
"Are you okay?" I asked out of nowhere. Immediately the walls around her mind returned and she looked down at me.
"Fine." She said defensively.
"Right and I'm giving up human blood from now on." I told her crossing my arms across my chest.
"You could be. Seriously I'm fine though just drop it." She glared coldly at me.
"Alright." I looked around the forest and realized that this is where she was 'living'. "You know my offer still stands of staying with me right?" I asked her.
"Thanks. She said and dropped down from the tree. I smiled a small smile at her and we headed to my house. I was actually sort of surprised that she had agreed to come stay with me.
"Oh I hope you don't mind but I do have a couple other people staying with me. Kyanree who I believe you already met she's the girl with purple hair and purple eyes. Nathan you already met him and then Trudie who I'm not sure you met but she's nice too." I told her.
"Okay." Even though her walls were up I could tell that she was lost in thought and was only slightly listening to what I was saying. Hopefully with her staying with us now I would be able to find out more about her past. I wasn't usually one to invade someone's privacy unless absolutely necessary but Ember's past was more of a mystery than anyone's.
As they said curiosity killed the cat. I just wondered how many lives I had left.

~<>~Kynaree's POV~<>~
I stared out Cecil's car window as we passed the nearby houses, him, Theo and I were going to Valkyrie's house out of boredom. I normally liked Saturdays but today was just too quiet, too calm, too boring. I sighed out loud as I listened to Theo and Cecil argue about what radio station to leave it at.
That's when I saw it right in front off us, it was trying to dodge the front of the car. I let out a small yelp and hopped between the front seats and grabbed the steering wheel. "Hit it!, hit it!" I squeaked.
"Kynaree, what the hell do you think you're doing?!" Cecil and Theo yelled together.
"Get it!" Theo pushed me back into my seat and Cecil got back onto the right side of the road.
"It was just a dog" Theo tried to explain.
"I know" I replied taking deep breaths as we passed the small creature.
"She's afraid of dogs" Cecil told him.
"Don't say the D word anymore" Theo gave me the same look Cecil usually did when he thought I was acting like a total moron.
"But.. you live with werewolves? I mean come on, why on earth would you be afraid of dogs?" he wondered out loud.
"You idiot" Cecil muttered. Werewolves? Dogs? I never managed to put the two together and I started to hyperventilate. Cecil began telling me reassuring things about werewolves but my mind blocked it all out.
"I don't wanna go to Valkyries anymore" I whined.
"You'll be fine. Wolves and dogs are totally different" he tried to explain and handed Theo his blackberry, "Theo go online and list all the reasons wolves are different than dogs, I'm driving"
I continued blocking it all out and when we finally arrived to Valkyrie's, Theo was forced to carry me inside while I tried to struggled to get out of his arms. "Lemme go" I tried sounding threatening but he still didn't let me down until we reached the entryway. When my feet hit the ground I tried rushing out the door but Cecil caught me.
"Come on, you don't want to hurt any of the werewolves feelings do you?" he started using logic against me yet again. I frowned, finally when I turned around I found the only person in the house was Nathan.
"Nathan" I said relieved.
"Kynaree" he replied looking somewhat confused. "What are you all doing here?"
"Well, Cecil's house gets boring with just the three of us" I took a seat by Nathan on the soft couch. "Where's Valk?"
"Hunting"
Cecil had the next question, "Have you seen my dad lately? He left several hours ago and he isn't answering his phone. I thought maybe he stopped by here"
"No"
"Hm" he mumbled and sat next to my side, leaving a big enough gap for Theo to sit by me. However instead of Theo sitting there a mini Dartan took the spot.
"I thought you were the only one in the house" I complained. Nathan shrugged and I smiled at Addy, "Hi" I greeted her in the sweetest voice I could manage.
"Hi"

I followed Valkyrie to her home. I was having mixed emotions at the moment. First there was the lingering fear of the flashback, the excitement of finally being able to live with a roof over my head, and at the same time the nervousness of meeting the people Valkyrie had living with her. Finally the house, or should I say mansion came into view. It was built out of cool gray bricks, it had a Gothic/Victorian feel to it. I think I was going to enjoy living with Valkyrie. Valkyrie ushered me into the entryway. I quickly pulled of my shoes and set them on the carpet near the door. She led me down the hallway. It split off, one hall leading to the living room, and the other leading to the kitchen. We went entered the kitchen and I instantly stiffened. Faerie...I instantly tensed. Valkyrie noticed my tension, and shot me a glance to see how I was reacting. Her eyes wondered over to the faerie. I stared at the girl. She of course was beautiful, all faeries had captivating qualities. She had bright amethyst eyes and choppy violet locks just below her shoulder line. I could practically hear her little heart thundering against her ribcage. Demons, no matter if they were only half or not, never normally got along with faeries. To break the silence Valkyrie introduced me to her crew. I had forgotten some of their names. "Ember, you remember Theo, Nathan, Kynaree?" She casually gestured over at them. I attempted a smile. Once again it might have possibly came out as a deranged grimace. Kynaree attempted a gentle smile to also, but her eyes were so wild it made her look even more uncomfortable. I took a couple steps back feeling completely out of place. Valkyrie made a motion to grasp my arm gently. "Oh and this is Addy and Cecil." I curtly nodded. "Hello Ember!" Cecil greeted me. I tensed. A thick English accent. I hate English accents. My expression must have shown this. From Cecil's point of view my face had turned almost literally to stone. Cold, no expression in the eyes. The hand he had extended to me to shake just hung in the air awkwardly. I looked over at Valkyrie with a sense of urgency in my eyes. She caught it and directed to me to my room muttering a quick "be right back." to her friends. She led me up a staircase and down at hall, taking a sharp left. We walked a little ways down the next hall and she stopped at a black door with a golden handle. Turning it she led me into a charmingly furnished room. The walls were a deep scarlet shade, with silken black curtains over the window. The bed was set next to the window. It was a queen size with red colored bedding and black fluffy pillows. The carpet was surprising soft and was scarlet also. She guided me into the room and and sat down on the bed. It was feathery soft. And laid back on it. When Valkyrie left I would be sure to jump on it, provided I didn't smack my head on the ceiling. "Well, this is your room, as you can see to the left it your bathroom." She came me a warm smile and left me to take in my surroundings. I had never noticed the bathroom though. I crept in. Wow. It was huge. There was a large porcelain bathtub with golden handles that could probably fit five people. I smiled. Bath time tonight! There was black tile on the floor. It was cold to the touch. Like the rest of the room the walls were crimson. I think, besides the other guests in this house, it would be nice living here.

~Valkyrie's POV~
I came back downstairs after I showed Ember her room to let her get settled in without everyone breathing down her back. I went back into the kitchen where everyone was still located in the same spot and sat on the counter.
"So is she living with us?" Nathan was the first to break the silence.
"Yes. So if anyone has an issue with it, besides Kynaree, then speak now or forever hold your peace." I told all of them crossing my arms across my chest.
"If you think it's best she stays with us then I believe you and I'll stick with your decision." Nathan smiled at me.
"Why don't I have a say?" Kynaree whined.
"Because Kynaree you would be afraid of a fly if it landed on you so you would just be speaking out of fear." I said. Kynaree made a humph noise and looked down at the floor.
"Well I don't live here so it doesn't matter to me." Cecil shrugged. Addy started to cling to my arm and I gave Nathan a helpless look. He grinned at me and didn't even try to remove the small Dartan from my arm.
"Whatever." Theo said. His mind slipped again and I heard his vile thoughts of how Ember living with us was just another reason to break up with Kynaree. I glanced over at him and gave him my coldest glare. Cecil and Kynaree both noticed it but Kynaree was the only one to voice her concern while Cecil just gave me a confused look.
"Valk what's wrong?" Kynaree asked me worriedly. I turned the cold glare into an assuring smile.
"Nothing's wrong Kynaree." I smiled at her. She still had a slight worried expression but she seemed to buy my excuse of there being nothing wrong.
"I don't like her." Addy whined.
"You don't even know her and well you don't live here so your vote doesn't count." Nathan told her. I looked down at her and saw the tears start to swell up in her eyes.
"Ugh Nathan good one." I yelled at him picking Addy and holding her in my arms.
"Sorry." Nathan apologized running a hand through his hair awkwardly. I set Addy back down after I was sure that she wasn't going to start crying. I wanted Ember to come back downstairs so that she would get used to everyone's presence and become more friendly with everyone.
"Can I come with you?" Addy asked after I set her down.
"Sure, I guess." I shrugged my shoulders not wanting to upset her. She put her hand in mine and we walked up to the third floor where Ember's room was. I had made sure to put her on the third floor with me and away from Kynaree and Trudie's rooms on the second floor.
I knocked on her door and waited for her to answer the door instead of me barging in like I normally did with everyone else. She answered the door and I noticed that her hair was wet and I was surprised that I hadn't heard the water running. Addy seemed to hide behind me as I walked into the room.
"You should probably come downstairs and get acquainted with everyone so it becomes easier for you to be around everyone else." I smiled encouragingly at her.
"I'm not sure if I'm ready for that tonight." Ember whispered.
"I know it's hard and if you really don't think you can do it then don't push yourself but if you think you can manage it for at least a little bit then we'll be downstairs." I smiled at her. I led Addy back downstairs with me and I headed into the living room and looked around awkwardly.
"Um I'm not sure what you want to watch so here." I told her handing her the remote. I entered the kitchen again and sat on one of the stools. Life was getting complicated again.
